No need to pack meals—we’ve got you covered! 🍳 Cooking Demo by Gentleman Forager EATS Crew – Learn how to prepare wild mushrooms and other foraged foods with expert techniques. 🎤 Friday Night Open Mic & Karaoke – Show off your hidden talents or just enjoy a night of entertainment with fellow foragers. 🎶 Saturday Night Guest Band – A high-energy live performance to cap off the weekend’s festivities. 🏕️ Camping at Scenic View Campground – Stay at this stunning lakeside campground, located 1.5 hours west of Minneapolis in Spooner, WI. Tent, pop-up, and RV camping available (upcharge for RVs). 🐕 Dog-Friendly & Laid-Back Atmosphere – Bring your well-behaved pup and enjoy a weekend of foraging, food, and fun with a like-minded community. Hey there, morel hunter! Before you grab your ticket and start dreaming about golden fungi, here are a few things to know: 🌧️ Rain or Shine – Morels Love the Rain, and So Will You! Let’s be real—if we only foraged on sunny days, we’d all be eating grocery store mushrooms. The Black Morel Hootenanny happens no matter what the weather throws at us—because morels don’t take rain checks, and neither do we! Pack a raincoat, some good boots, and a sense of adventure. 🚫 No Refunds – But You Can Pass Your Ticket to a Fellow Fun-Guy (or Gal)! We totally get that life happens. While we can’t offer refunds, it’s not because we don’t love you—it’s because planning an event like this takes serious work, from booking shuttles to coordinating chefs and securing locations. That means every ticket sold helps make the event possible. However, if you can’t make it, you’re more than welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend. Just let us know so we don’t think some random person is stealing your morels. 🥾 Nature is Not a Sidewalk Foraging means walking through real, wild terrain—think uneven ground, the occasional mud patch, and possibly a few rogue twigs trying to trip you. If hiking through the woods isn’t your thing, this might not be your jam.
