Quantity

One 1 lb bag of frozen huitlacoche, fully cleaned and ready to cook. One bag yields approximately 6–8 servings.

Frozen shipping starts at $65 for orders up to 5 lb. Frozen products ship overnight in an insulated cooler with frozen gel packs. Combining several frozen items in one order generally provides better shipping value than shipping a single pound.

Often called corn truffle, huitlacoche is prized in Mexican cuisine for its deep, earthy flavor with notes of roasted corn, mushroom and subtle natural sweetness. It is harvested at peak maturity and frozen immediately to preserve texture and flavor.
