A Foraging-Inspired Pop Art Design
This shirt is built around a simple idea: celebrate the morel.
Using an original Gentleman Forager photograph as the foundation, the morel mushroom was hand-drawn on a tablet and refined into a clean vector illustration. From there, the design was pushed into a bold, Warhol-inspired 4-panel composition - playing with repetition, variation, and color.
 
Designed for the Woods (Not for the Bugs)
This isn’t just about looks.
 
The color palette was intentionally chosen based on what we don’t want in the woods:
No harsh blacks
No bright reds or oranges
No high-contrast tones that trap heat
 
Instead, we use a bug-conscious palette of:
Soft sage greens
Dusty sky blues
Warm sand and bone tones
Muted, earthy hues
 
These colors reflect light, stay cooler, and avoid the tones mosquitoes are naturally drawn to—helping you stay more comfortable when it matters most.
