About the event
Whether you’re new to foraging or looking to sharpen your skills, this class is designed to help you feel more confident identifying four of summer’s most sought-after wild mushrooms: chanterelle, hedgehog, yellowfoot, and black trumpet.
We’ll focus on the key features that separate these species from their lookalikes, when and where they tend to grow, and the kinds of things you should (and shouldn’t) rely on when identifying mushrooms in the wild.
This is a classroom-based session — no fieldwork, no mushroom samples — just clear, practical info that’s easy to apply once you’re out in the woods.
The class will be held at Urban Wok in St. Louis Park on Sunday, July 13 from 1–4 PM. Food and drink specials will be available during the event, including Headwater functional mushroom beverages.
Cost: $75 per person. Seating is limited.
